Gunblade NY and LA Machineguns aren't really the same type of game, the crosshair remains on (even if it didn't you're always firing infinite ammo at full auto so your tracers/impact points would act like it) and it's all about reflexes to prioritize targets which move in crazy patterns and the projectiles thrown at you before they hit. And when I miss and fail to save the high fiving president I always blame the calibration :PĬan't wait to get the money for a VR setup to get the lightgun-like games alone personally, nevermind all the rest uses :) Having the calibration tight enough to pull off the required headshot without crosshair at the Mission 2 boss feels so badass. Seeing the average arcade version of HOTD3 for example it seems that the screen is both larger AND way closer so aiming should be far easier the way I see it. I have to wonder if the games aren't harder than in the arcades for me since I have to stay a decent distance away from my monitor to properly calibrate it for proper aiming and then stay put to not mess it up. It's just so damn fun even if the accuracy isn't quite on the level of a real lightgun it's close enough with proper calibration.

I'm restricting myself on 1 credit, no crosshair (duh) and moving through easy difficulty (and max lives for HOTD) for now.

Man, I'm so HOOKED with HOTD2&3 and especially Ghost Squad! Most fun I've had with games in ages (well, since I played them on Wii I guess, lol, but that was on a tiny 14" TV with horrid image quality). Anyway, HOTD 2 & 3 Return in Dolphin, it's hard to take screenshots while playing, LOL.

Dolphin on the other hand runs superbly and I even got a Dolphinbar so I can play games with my real controllers, Red Steel 2 and Metroid Prime 3 are fun as ever and now look sweet too, I wish I had a bigger PC monitor now lol, it would make the lightgun games that much more fun (for proper calibration I need to be a decent distance away see). Just saying, no need to make this one a troubleshooting thread for me.

I'm using an older i7 3770 and GTX1080 so maybe CPU is at fault. Out of a limited selection OOT 3D is pretty much the only game that runs as intended for me, not even Majora's Mask can maintain that performance while no Monster Hunter even displays properly and runs at like 10fps at best. No idea how people can run Citra playable at higher res, my PC chugs even at native res in most games using the latest nightlies or whatever (also since this was mentioned earlier the emulator tells you the fps you get as well as the % compared to the native speed it should be getting so you can tell if you run it full speed and it's the game running at low fps or not).
